Vermont
Bromley Sun Mountain Adventure Park - http://summer.bromley.com/, currently is offering family Tuesdays where the entrance fee is only 23 in the morning, or 29 all day which includes free ice cream. They have just opened up the Sun Mountain Flyer which cost them 1 million and soars as high as a five story building at 55 mph, there are only 10 of its kind in the world. If you are not up for the zip adventure, they offer other activities from miniature golf to bumper cars.
Great Vermont Corn Maze - http://www.vermontcornmaze.com/. Not your typical run of the mill amusement park, the Vermont Corn Maze offer mush more than just corn. They have barnyard golf, Laser Tag, Dead North – farmland of terror (4 days only and reservations are required), gopher tunnels, human puzzles, and starlight mazes.
Santa’s Land - see Santa from Memorial Day through winter, http://www.santasland.com/. Visit the North Pole Village and enjoy age appropriate rides. When you done with the fun, stop at one of the shops and start your holiday shopping early,
New Hampshire
Canobie Lake Park – offers over 85 rides, games, live entertainment and attractions for the whole family to enjoy, http://www.canobie.com/index.php. New to the park this year is Castaway Island Water Play Complex, which allows people of all ages 50 different ways to get wet.
Six Gun City – have some fun in a western frontier setting, http://www.sixguncity.com/. To assist in making it authentic, they have recently added the ability to camp next door at the Fort Jefferson Campground, offering 100 sites. Enjoy the rides, water slides, shows and miniature horses.
Story Land – let all the stories you have grown up with and know read to your children come to life at Story Land, http://www.storylandnh.com/index.html. Geared towards children between the ages of 2 and 12. Parking, stroller rental and pet kennels are free on a first come first serve basis.
Water Country – offers a variety of water based activities for all ages and swim levels, http://www.watercountry.com/. Whether you like it fast or want to float along a lazy river, cooling off from the hot sun will sure take place.
Santa’s Village – come be greeted by Rudolph and be sure to visit the Elf University, http://www.santasvillage.com/. A place where all dreams of Santa come true and you will feel like it snows all year round. 17 family themed rides are available.
Rhode Island
Adventure Land of Narragansett – fun for all thrill seekers and explorers, http://www.adventurelandri.com/. Test your skills racing, in the batting cages, bumper boats and miniature golf.
Water Wizz – cool off by sliding down their 35 foot high giant slides, or speed down their 50 foot super slide. All in all they encompass over 1,000 feet of water sliding adventures.
